Trump-Backed World Liberty Financial To Launch Debit Card, Retail App To Bolster USD1

The Trump family-backed World Liberty Financial plans to launch a debit card and retail app to push its USD1  stablecoin deeper into everyday consumer payments. The offerings will combine peer-to-peer transfers with trading Features , creating what co-founder Zak Folkman calls a “Venmo meets Robinhood” experience. The debit card will also integrate with Apple Pay. The team behind President Donald Trump’s crypto operations is on an aggressive accumulation spree of crypto assets before and during the 2025 inauguration ceremony. According to blockchain intelligence and “de-anonymizing” platform Arkham, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) – the Trump family’s crypto project – bought over $50 million worth of cryptocurrencies in the hours leading up to the new President being sworn in.
