Sean 'Diddy' Combs Hires Lawyer Representing Sam Bankman-Fried

After both men were moved to the same area of a Brooklyn jail, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has now hired the same lawyer who is representing Sam Bankman-Fried. Indeed, a new Business Insider reported Combs’ change in litigation as he is set to appeal the decision to jail him as his trial awaits. Combs is currently awaiting a hearing regarding sex trafficking charges. Moreover, his stay in the New York Metropolitan Detention Center has seen him housed in the same unit as the FTX founder and former CEO. Now, they are both set to share representation in the form of Alexandra Shapiro. Oyster Protocol imprisoned for $5.5m in tax offenses

Oyster Protocol founder Amir Bruno Elmaani admitted he had secretly minted and sold the project’s PRL tokens for his gain. Elmaani will spend four years in prison for causing $5.5 million in tax losses. In a press release on Oct. 31, the United States Attorney’s Office noted that Elmaani pled guilty to tax offenses in April 2023. Yet, he will get the maximum sentence allowed by statute for secretly issuing and selling Pearl (PRL) tokens for his gain without paying taxes on crypto profits. Tornado Cash dev Alex Pertsev set to be released from prison under surveillance

The Tornado Cash developer was arrested in August 2022 by Dutch authorities as part of a criminal investigation against the crypto mixer service. Tornado Cash developer Alex Pertsev is set to be released from jail after spending nearly nine months in prison . Pertsev was arrested in August last year by Dutch authorities on suspicion of being involved in Money Laundering through the crypto mixing service Tornado Cash. Cointelegraph confirmed the news with the people familiar with the matter, and Pertsev is all set to be back home by April 26, which also happens to be his birthday.
