In what is a major moment for both the company and the asset, Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) has officially signed a $2.32 billion deal to establish a Bitcoin treasury. Specifically, the move will see the company buy and hold the leading cryptocurrency, according to a recent press release. The company behind the US President’s Truth brand announced that the deal has closed the private offering with “50 institutional investors.” Moreover, the deal was made through the sale of over 55 million shares at an average price of $25.72 per share alongside senior secured notes due in 2028 at a principal amount of $1 billion.
