Trump Signed an Executive Order to Impose Tariffs on Goods from Canada, Mexico and China link The Wall Street Journal reporter Nick Timiraos wrote that Trump issued an executive order to impose a 25% tariff on Canadian goods, except for energy products, which will be subject to a 10% tariff, authorized by the International Economic Emergency Powers Act (IEEPA), and the tariffs will take effect on Tuesday.
