XRP under threat of crashing to $2 as whales move over $250 million

XRP is showing growing signs of weakness from a technical perspective, even as whales moved $251.8 million of the asset. Notably, the cryptocurrency is currently settling around the $2.50 level after experiencing significant short-term capital outflows. Now, an outlook by prominent cryptocurrency analyst Ali Martinez suggests that XRP could find support at $2. Binance Pays $283,000,000 Reimbursement To Customers, Denies Causing Bitcoin and Crypto Market Crash

Crypto exchange giant Binance says it’s paying about $283 million to customers affected by asset de-pegging issues during Friday’s market crash. The compensation covers losses from liquidated positions where users held USDE, BNSOL and WBETH as collateral. President Trump’s renewed tariff threat against China triggered the widespread market selloff, and Binance denies claims that it’s to blame for the major crypto downturn. “We are aware of claims that the de-pegging of certain Binance Earn products relating to USDE, BNSOL, and WBETH, caused the market crash, and therefore we wish to clarify that it was not the case. The extreme market downturn occurred before the de-pegging. Records show that during the market sell-off, prices fell to their lowest point between 2025-10-10 21:20 and 21:21 (UTC), while the severe de-pegging occurred after 21:36 (UTC) on the same day. Where the de-pegging impacted some users who had their positions li...

Notably, the number of XRP’s active addresses peaked at 44,143 on July 21 on the weekly timeframe before dropping to just 24,644 by July 27, a 44.2% decline. The drop followed a brief surge from 30,190 on July 20, indicating that the increase in user activity was short-lived, according to the latest on-chain data retrieved by Finbold from CryptoQuant. At the same time, XRP’s price fell from $3.55 to $3.16, marking a 10.99% drop. XRP active addresses chart.
